The Lena Dunham “first time” ad is certainly clever, but this ad for Putin (turn on closed captioning for translation) was first. And actually, it turns out Reagan offered some pretty similar innuendo back in 1980.
It makes sense to liken voting to sex; after all, no matter the outcome, we’re all screwed.
Of course, I don’t recommend anyone’s first time (or any time) be with someone who assassinates kids (or plans to follow the same tactics, likely with similar results). But maybe that’s just me.
